This year, Chamil Garden has released another collection of washi tapes in collaboration with Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards. These washi tapes printed with beautiful designs that express the passing golden days (流金歲月).
The film festival & awards has announced its cancellation this year in accordance with the spread of COVID-19.
The Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards is a film festival and awards ceremony held annually in Taiwan. It intends to introduce excellent films to the world and to stimulate exchange of ideas and inspire creativity.
The theme of this year is inspired by a classic Spainish novel <The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha>, designed by Taiwan illustrator, Ahn Zhe. Using mainly with the three basic colours (red, blue, yellow) as backgrounds, indicating the changing and challenges in film industry.
We hope you will join them into this fantastic, magical journey of film industry.
Chamil Garden, a talented rubber stamps designer from Taiwan who enjoy carving rubber stamps, also trying her best to move towards her goals. She is known for creating stunning designs with simple lines, dots, words and collages. By matching them with different colours, her designs and artworks always inspired many of us.
