Awagami Conservation Paper Pack
While exploring the possibilities of using Japanese washi paper as an art materials, Awagami has developed “Conservation or Restoration Paper Pack” series by restoring the Fuji Kozo Roll and Hinging Paper. Each set comes with different thickness of Fuji Kozo Roll and Tengucho papers, specially made for conservation purpose. Each paper well labeled at the back-side of the sample.
Awagami washi papers are made by using renewable fibers such as Kozo, Bamboo, Mitsumata, Gampi and Hemp, yielding sheets of expressive surface and impressive character. They are beautiful and versatile enough to be used for almost any creative project you can come up with, from adorning your pages to greeting cards, packaging or simply place it on your desk.

Washi Paper & the Environment
Awagami washi paper is an "Intangible Cultural Property" of Tokushima, Japan.
Since antiquity, Japanese washi has been made from renewable plant resources that grow to maturity in 1-2 years. When compared to wood-based papers (that take dozens of years to mature and require many chemicals), washi is created with significantly less harm to our environment in a clean and eco-friendly manner.
